Manual Therapy

Manual Therapy deals with the treatment of reversible disorders of the musculoskeletal system. It consists of special hands-on techniques which can be used to localize, analyze and also treat problems of restricted mobility in the extremities and the spine. The diagnostic findings are the basis for the therapeutic hands-on which the physiotherapist uses for mobilization. The hands-on are also used to modulate pain as well as to facilitate movement if this is caused by a reversible dysfunction of the joint or joint structures (muscles, ligaments, joint capsule or nerves).
